Vertas Group recognised with silver award for supporting armed forces community

Vertas Group has received further recognition for supporting the armed forces community. It has been awarded Silver Award status as part of the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme.

The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same.

Vertas Group signed the Armed Forces Covenant in 2017 and previously held a bronze award but has recently improved its commitment by introducing a reservist’s policy. The policy offers reservists ten days of paid leave, enabling colleagues to have time away from the business to carry out any required training.

Vertas Group has also recently enhanced its commercial offering by creating a social value coffee arm, through a joint venture with Combat2Coffee.
