What We Do
Our team of Landscape Architects design and create outdoor environments that enhance and complement the use of a site and its surroundings.
We take great pride in our ability to deliver dynamic, attractive and inspiring landscapes, providing a positive experience for those who use these spaces.
Our approach is driven by collaboration; working with clients and stakeholders to gain a detailed understanding of the project requirements for the site and its environment. We are considerate of the unique character of each site and provide innovative solutions to suit the budget.
Sustainability principles are at the forefront of our Landscape Architecture services. Our award-winning team can deliver stand-alone Landscape Architecture design projects or work collaboratively as part of a wider design team.
Our Landscape Architecture services include:
The team can establish the viability of projects and explore several possible options by undertaking feasibility studies and option appraisals. These will help to develop fully the project brief in the early stages of our discussions.
We can design early concept plans and layouts for a variety of sectors, responding to the requirements of clients and end users.
We work with architects, clients and stakeholders to explore options for styles, themes, textures, colours and sensory needs, ensuring appropriate plant selection to suit the environment.
We can provide advice on all aspects of your project from ecological consultancy, giving guidance on the impact on the eco systems, to arboriculture consultancy, where we can discuss the works specific to your site.
Through our in-house team and via our supply chain, we can provide a range of reports and surveys. These include LVIA, EIA, Topographical and Arboricultural surveys, and a full range of ecology surveys.
Planting is an integral part of most projects and our aim is to design a scheme that complements the building’s surroundings. Our expertise covers the full range of detailed design, from hard works which include boundary walls, fences, gates and paving, through to soft works comprising planting schemes, biodiversity and sustainable drainage systems.
Our planting design capability can be used as part of an external works scheme or as a separate service.
Where long-term strategies or expertise in urban design are required, we will work with you to devise a clear structure for the detailed design of large-scale developments. We understand the complexities of an urban site and the sensitivities required to create an environment which works on both the macro and micro scales.
If planning permission is required, we can advise clients and create detailed designs. We will work with the planning authority and interpret the planning policy to limit the number of planning conditions.
Our team can produce design information, including visuals, to support pre-planning consultation, and obtain specialist support for all surveys and reports required for planning applications.
Our team includes skilled designers who, as well as using hand drawn sketches, can generate realistic graphical images of projects using 3D modelling software. We also use a range of visualisation techniques, including static images and flythroughs, for the immersive VR experience.
Testimonial
“I just wanted to pass on a huge thanks to you all for your hard work in delivering the new school. It has been a pleasure to work with all of you. The whole team has worked really well together, overcoming all of the challenges that have arisen with efficiency and professionalism. The design, specification and finish of the project is fantastic. I think the planting at this school is some of the best I’ve seen!”
