Thank you for your support in 2024

Friars Bridge Road Christmas Tree

While colleagues across the industry take a festive break, we want to thank you for your continued support and collaboration this past year. It has been a year filled with challenges and achievements, and we’ve navigated it all together.

Here are just some of our achievements this year.

In 2024, not only were Concertus appointed to the ESPO’s Consultancy for Decarbonisation and Net Zero Strategies framework, but we were also successfully appointed to the Procure Partnerships Professional framework covering the East Midlands, East of England, and London. This achievement solidifies our position as a trusted provider of professional services.

Project milestones took place, with celebrity appearances from British Illustrator and Author Charles Mackesy OBE and Popstar Tom Grennan. We successfully received planning for the first Net Zero in operation school in Suffolk, working in collaboration with Suffolk County Council.

New Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) facilities were delivered across Derbyshire, Bedfordshire, and Suffolk, with new units created or existing facilities remodelled. These developments foster social inclusion, helping to prevent isolation and creating opportunities for SEN pupils to learn and grow alongside their peers.

We hosted our first Meet the Buyer event for the £500m Suffolk County Council Construction and Building Services Framework, bringing together over 100 local suppliers. This was followed by a Social Value Engagement event highlighting the Council’s priorities and the importance of delivering social value within the framework.

Following the completion of a new Dentistry Training Hub in Ipswich and the facility being shortlisted for multiple awards, Concertus was awarded a six-year contract with the University of Suffolk. With a focus on regenerating their current estate, the new partnership aims to support the University’s growth plans until 2030, encompassing multiple projects across the campus.

We welcomed 25 work experience placements, and our industry partnership with Suffolk New College went from strength to strength as we led the way for many career talks and workshops to support T-level students through their studies.

We celebrated our colleagues’ successes while developing and introducing new services, including Property Management and Carbon Consultancy. During Neurodiversity Celebration Week, we highlighted how the diversity within our teams only strengthens our workforce. We achieved this by sharing colleagues’ stories to educate others and squash misconceptions.

As part of a Group social value initiative, Exec Experiences, we raised an incredible £23,000 (including gift aid) for Cancer Research UK, bringing our total to over £28,000 for the year and £77,000 to date. Meanwhile, we welcomed and fostered new relationships throughout the year by attending networking opportunities like Women in Construction and UKREiiF.

We look forward to reconnecting in the new year. We aim to continue strengthening our partnerships and fostering innovation while progressing toward our sustainability objectives. We strive to support communities and form new connections. Your contributions have been invaluable, and we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.

Wishing you and your families a wonderful holiday season!

Our offices will remain open during the holiday period, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. We’re excited to continue our collaboration in 2025 and beyond.
